One Skeery Walkie!

Yesterday we were lucky enough to get to go in the car to get to our walkie.

We went over to The Gorge Waterway to check the pee mail and leave some of our own.

It all started out okay... we got to sniff lots of different flowers and bushes.

Then I heard a dawg bark and I don't like being in a strange place where a strange dawg may come and skeer me!  Mom says the dawg was in his backyard far away but I didn't believe her and just wanted to go back to the car so we could go home!

I might look calm but I tried to turn around every few feet.  Finally, mom said that I had to go all the way to the picnic table and then we could turn around.

I still thought that was a long way away...

Once we got there, mom made us sit down for a few minutes before she'd let me go back to the car.

Once she gave the all clear, I was off!

There was no holding me back!

I even left Pippen to fend for himself!

No strange dawgs are gonna get me!

Then we were there!

My car!

Come on, mom!  Let's go!  Open the door!

Back to the safety of the back seat.

Mom is now threatening to leave me at home for the next adventure and only take Pippen.

I'm hoping she's only joking!

  1. Was that dog barking the HBO words? We have some like that in our neighborhood. Some say hi and some say naughty things to me.

  2. I can't believe your mom would be so mean when you're obviously about to be attacked by an ax murderer or something! Next time she's scared, you need to laugh at her and not let her get away.

  5. Riley doesn't take kindly to having other dogs barking at her on a walkie either. No worries. You're perfectly strange...err...I mean, normal! Normal, riiiight. :)

Glad you got the heck out of dodge and made it back to your car safe and sound. I'm sure your mom was so totally joking about not bringing you along next time...right? Right???

  6. Anything could have happened! Maybe that dog was trash talking and threatening to slash your tires or something, right? Maybe next time mom will listen to you when you say "time to boogie."

  9. Oh my dawg Sam, you were more scared of that evil dog barking than I am when Mum says I'm almost out of food! I don't blame you at all running away, I wouldn't stay long, you could have been in real danger! Tut, Tut for leaving poor Pippen behind, that's not very nice! He could have been killed by that nasty dog or something! Such a crazy adventure you had! Love, Licks and Tummy Rubs from your Pugalier Pal Frank x x x x x
