When mom got home yesterday, we were mighty excited cuz that always means WALKIES! Little did we know that this walkie would go on forEVER! You won't believe this but we musta walked for 20 minutes! I know! Totally shocking!
I knew I would never make it back home - I hadn't eaten before we left (unless, of course, you count the cat poop but don't tell mom!)
As you can see... I collapsed when we were 3 doors away from home.
I yelled out, 'Mom! Help! I'm exhausted, come back and carry me!'
Mom continued on and so did that goody four paws, Pippen. While they were walking away from me, I collapsed.
I saw my life flash before my eyes... help me... somebuddy... any buddy...
I was finally able to lift my head a little...
The little boy next door was yelling at me, he called me a 'bad doggie'
I mustered all my energies and yelled back at him, 'I might be bad but you're short and you ride a tricycle!'
and THEN I gave him a ppppffffhhhhhttttt!
That's when I noticed mom moving away from me... she was just going to leave me to expire from exhaustion! Right there! In front of a three year old with an attitude! Three doors away from food, water and relative safety. Mom told me I'd have to walk the last 50 feet home!
Someone might need to call the authorities!
I didn't know you had such a challenging fitness issue Sam.... Maybe you should start working on that!

You'd better hurry up because Pippen might get all the food!!!

You poor thing! Only a 20 minute walk? We do 30 minute walks minimum, or there's no point!

I am dialing them up RIGHT NOW!!
ReplyDeleteTHIS is Horrid Sam. You might have swooned or somethingy.
OH NO! We love walks here but our legs are MUCH longer than yours. You tell your mom that her legs are what, like 50 times longer than yours? She needs to TONE IT DOWN.
ReplyDeleteIf you need me to give the pawlice a call or come and picket, I will.

ReplyDeleteHowdy Sam, we dropped over from Mango's blog to say hello. After reading your post, all we can say is we have the RSPCA's number ready to call. Just let us know. Only thing is, since they have to come from Oz it might take a while. No worries, and love, Stella and Rory
