Canada wins the hockey!

Yahoo!

We were on the edge of our seats watching the hockey game today...

But in the end our boys won!

I was so totally excited, I went out in the backyard and barked and barked at the top of my lungs!

I was so noisy that mom made me come back inside in case the neighbours got mad...

But I'm pretty sure they were all celebrating too!

Way to go Canada!

Bed Hogs?

OOPS!

Someone fell out of the bed in the middle of the night...

Totally NOT our fault!

Most likely the cat did it...

and really, let's be honest...

Is it really our fault?

Who's bed is it anyway?

Obviously, the bed is ours...

Someone needs to learn NOT to sleep on the edge!

Sunny Sunday!

We had the best weekend here in Victoria!  It was just sun, sun, sun and the temps were warm!

Of course that means a trip to the park and a bit of a swim.

I'd like to save that stick that's in the water but it's a bit chilly... will have to wait until the ocean is a bit warmer!

Then it's time for some beach exploration...

and then a bit of a walk...

Then Pippen is off to a rendezvous with is girl, Mitzi.

By the end of our visit at the park we were tired and ready to head home for a long nap!  It's reported that the sun will shine for most of the next week so we'll be out and about quite a bit...

Happy Anniversary!

Six years ago today, I put my paw in my mom's hand...

Even though I was just a little tyke at the time, I knew this would be a lifelong partnership.  I made some vows on that day that I'll share today.

I vowed to warm the bed for mom so she wouldn't be cold at night...

I vowed to always go along with whatever scheme or idea she thought up even if I thought it was a bad idea... (ferry rides!)

or a good idea... (getting a baby brother!)

I vowed to find snakes and mice before mom could see them and just generally keep her safe...

I vowed to make her laugh at least once a day...

Happy Anniversary, Mom!  It's been a great six years...

It's Almost Spring!

This has been the best weekend of the year so far!  First of all, mom took Friday off and has Monday off as well.  That means we have four days of her undivided attention!

Secondly, the weather has been fantastic, just like spring...

So we headed to our park to see our friends...

As you can see, mom's been drinking again... the trail isn't lopsided... mom is...

Anyway, Pippen's girlfriend showed up shortly after we did...

That's Mitzi...  Pippen loves the princess type of girl that needs a big, strong boy for protection and of course, Mitzi loves a big, strong boy named Pippen.

Not long after, our buddy Cole showed up.

and he brought his daughter Solitaire AND a new girl Breeze!  We were flabbergasted!

Solitaire is on the left and Breeze is on the right.  Those are some good looking girls there!  Too bad Cole's around because if he wasn't, I'd be making my move!

Soon after that, Mitzi invited Pippen over to her place.  She needed some help in her backyard so we hightailed it over there.

The only thing that would have made the park more exciting was if MJ had shown up but once again she was AWOL...  I don't think having a job is a good thing!

Yoga or Tai Chi?

For some time now I've wanted to get in touch with my inner self.  I've watched with considerable interest while Mango does his meditations and thought that this would be a most excellent journey for me as well.

On Sunday, we were outside at the same time as our neighbour.  He just happened to be doing Tai Chi and after I did my business, I plunked my bum down on our grass to watch.  He had great technique and I learned very much - I asked mom to take pictures but she refused!

I have also been hearing quite a bit about the Yoga and managed to wander over to the library last week to read up on it.

After much ruminating between the two, I have chosen to become a master in the Yoga.

Here is an example of "Upside Down Dog":

As you can see, I've acheived a total state of zen.
