A Lesson in Dog Bed Usage

I'm here today to answer the question, "Can a dog have too many beds?"

The answer, of course is obvious...

Take this example given to us by Sam.

Sam says, you can NEVER have too many beds!  In fact,  2 or 3 more may be needed...

Myself, I don't need a lot of beds BUT I do require a nice pillow.

You can see here how I've have scrunched up one bed whilst laying on the other.

Unreasonable Demands

When mom was ready to go to sleep last night, she was greeted by the three of us already comfy in the big bed.

She was shocked that there was no room for her!

Really?

Looks to me like there's a lot of space there...

Of course, she insisted on getting in on 'her' side so I had to move!

Why anyone would want to sleep on the edge of the bed with the threat of falling, is beyond this dog's comprehension!

I don't think she realizes what undue stress this puts on us when we have to move to accomodate her.

Bed Hogs and Back Ends

The same thing happens every night when mom wants to sleep in the big bed...

She tells me to move my stinky butt so she can get her rest!

Doesn't she know how long it takes me to get the sheets, blankets and pillows in just the right configuration for optimal relaxation and sleeping?

And then when I do move to accommodate her, she still isn't happy because my 'back end' is pointing in her direction...

Exactly whose bed does she think this is anyway?
