Guess What!

I DID IT!

And I did it ALL BY MYSELF!

Do you want to know what I did?

I went outside in the backyard!  By myself!  As soon as mom opened the door!

I know that might sound weird to some of you but the back yard scared me and mom couldn't figure out why...

Sure, I'd go out there if Sam and Mom were out there.   Usually I'd do a quick wander and then right back in the house!

Mom tried coaxing me and said really nice things to me but I was having NONE of it!

I liked the house better!

Then a couple weeks ago, when everybuddy was outside and I was in the house, mom did something different...  She yelled at me!  She said, "You get outside!"

I was shocked and I runned right outside!  Mom ignored me and didn't make a fuss about me being outside.

I stayed outside with everybuddy... so everyday since then, I'd wait for mom to yell at me and then I'd go out and play with Sam.

Today, mom opened the door and I was the first one out!

I'm pretty proud of myself!  This summer should be fun!

PeeS.  I should say that I know mom wasn't really yelling at me.  She just gets me, if you know what I mean!

Plus after we came inside I always got extra good boy pats so I knew she was pretty happy!

Wordless Wednesday - My Pillow is TOO Hard Edition

WTF Walkie!

Okay...

So usually when we go walkies we try to say away from the peoples because more often then not they will stop us and tell us how handsome we are, how beautiful we are, how adorable we are, blah, blah, blah...

After a while, it just gets old...  Are we right or are we right???

Anyway, today, two different times people actually crossed the street to talk to mom about us.  We gots to hand it to mom though... she tries to pretend she busy doing something else but sometimes it just doesn't work!

One guy on a bicycle came over and wanted to know what kind of dog Pippen was because 'obviously your other dog is a shi tzu'!?!  Mom totally ignored the comment about my lineage and told him what Pippen's was... THEN, get this, he takes a better look at me and says, 'now that I see them beside each other, they totally look the same.'

WTF???

Does this nose look anywhere near as HUGE as Pippen's?

Which brings us to our second strange encounter of the day...

A woman stopped us and said, 'Your grey dog's head is oversized for his body, isn't it?'

Okay, I admit it... that one cracked me up...

but really, people, seriously?

We'd prefer it if you called us handsome and adorable!

Unreasonable Demands

When mom was ready to go to sleep last night, she was greeted by the three of us already comfy in the big bed.

She was shocked that there was no room for her!

Really?

Looks to me like there's a lot of space there...

Of course, she insisted on getting in on 'her' side so I had to move!

Why anyone would want to sleep on the edge of the bed with the threat of falling, is beyond this dog's comprehension!

I don't think she realizes what undue stress this puts on us when we have to move to accomodate her.

Stuck!

I think Pippen has something stuck to his butt...

Let me get a closer look...

EWWW.... yeah, dude... that's kinda gross!

What?  Sam?  Did you say something?

Huh?  Nope, nothing... there isn't anything wrong, Pippen.

It's All Sam's Problem...

I'm sure you all read Sam's whiny post yesterday...  "Poor me, I don't like the flashy beast."

You know, if he'd just listen to my advice, mom would give up trying take pictures of him.  Butt no...  he thinks he's smarter than me.

Well, answer me this question...  who had 75 pictures taken of them yesterday and who had 40?

So, for all you out there that don't like the flashy beast, let me show you how to be the pack leader when it comes to the flashy beast...

Okay, mom!  Let's take some pictures!

What?  Too close?  Okay... I'll back up a bit!

Yup, mom... totally understand...  we'll try again tomorrow.

And there you have it... only 40 shots of me and I'd say 36 of those are unusable!

I Has a Problem...

Our mom has just figured how to do that on ours... yee haw...

You'd think she'd clean the deck off first... but, no... 

She'll probably blame it on the 'wind storm' we had...

Product Review - Memory Foam Pillows

Does your mom or dad have a memory foam pillow? 

Is it one of the 'contoured' ones?

As you can see from the photo below, Pippen likes to use mom's memory foam pillow for full body comfort.

I, along with my Teddy, prefer to use the pillow in the traditional way.
