Why would we do something like that? Well... she went to the butcher shop and bought us a couple bones!

Poor Pippen had to contend with Chico Kitteh trying to get in on the action...
We worked on those bones for most of the afternoon and on and off in the evening.
When it was time to go to bed, I didn't want to leave mine and was going to sleep downstairs with it but once mom turned out the lights... well... it gets pretty dark and lonely!
So I decided to take the bone upstairs so I could sleep with it in the bed.
Mom was pretty impressed that I could carry it all the way upstairs AND then jump up onto the bed with it.
She did get a little annoyed with all the slurp, slurp noises I was making when she was trying to sleep...
but I told her that she could always go sleep on the sofa if it was that much of a problem for her!
Yummm.... tastes like ice cream!

Wow, what pawesome bone treats! I would totally love to take mine to bed, but my peeps get all cranky about that. Something about slobber and grease and chewing sounds. Ptthththt. Glad you got comfy with yours! Great pix.

Sam - your mom deserves a medal - First she bought you those HUGE bones.....THEN she LETS you take it to BED with you.....mine would not even be allowed in the house!! You're so lucky.

Yeah, I think my boys would furgive me if I left for a bit and came back with a big bone fur them too. And I can totally imagine those slurpy sounds when your mom was trying to sleep. My boys have done that to me too.
Hope you're still enjoying them and that the kitteh didn't bother you too much trying to steal them bones away.

Hi Sam and Pippen, those bones look soooooo good, my Mum gets me a nice juxtaposition bone just like that for a treat every so often and it keeps me going for about three days of nibbling nomness! It looks like you guys are really enjoying it! I don't blame you for taking your bone to bed with you, I do it all the time and I too drive my Mummy crazy with all the licking, crunching, grinding and chewing sounds as well as getting the bed sheets dirty with my drool and bone juice! (Yikes!) She also hates that she has to sleep with me AND the bone and hates it when she rolls over and lands on it! Ouch! You both are so lucky!
