Update on the Ouchie!

I just wanted to stop in and let everybuddy know what's happening with the lumpy that became an ouchie.

Here I was on Monday and look how good I'm healing up... I'm not even scratching it or anything!

So here's what the vet man said when he called:

The lumpy is benign!

He said that because of my breed that I'm susceptible to these types of lumpys and that they have to do with my sweat glands.

He said that I will most likely get another one but that mom shouldn't worry about it unless it grows fast or looks funny... 90% of these things don't amount to anything!

Isn't that great news???

So thank you to everybuddys that sent the good vibes my way...  They were pawesome and totally helped!

  3. Woohoo, that's GRREAT news! We boxers hate hate hate lumpies, because they can turn into the bad c-word very easily. My sissy Cinderella has had five lumpies removed, and one that we're keeping an eye on. I'm glad yours turned out okay!

  14. Sorry I have not been around to blogs in a while (I've been at uncle camp while my peeps abandoned me) so I've missed all the news about your schnauzer lump, Pippen. Scarlet, Zoe and I have all had skin issues, but just recently Zoe grew this HUGE lump on her belly. It was about to be removed by the V-E-T and lucky it self-imploded and then healed by itself. Apparently we schnauzers have issues with our skin because of the way we are built, low shedding and as you said.....the skin glands occasionally go haywire!!

I'm sorry you had to go through the op - and I'm sure you will heal really well - and we girls love a rugged scar!!BOL!
