What a Day!

Today was a beautiful day in the neighbourhood but I had other things something other than the sunshine on my mind...

A couple weeks ago, mom found a lumpy on Pippen's left cheek so we had to take him to the vet lady.  She poked and prodded it and said that it's probably nothing but it had to come out.

She wanted Pippen to go in on the Monday but mom said she couldn't leave me home alone all day so we scheduled it for today.

Pippen had to go in at 8:00 am and couldn't have any thing to eat.  That meant that nobuddy ate breakfasts today!

After we dropped off the Pippen we went back home to wait for the phone call to come pick him up.

I tried to sleep upstairs in the big bed...

I tried to go outside in the backyard...

I tried everythingie I could think of to take my mind off of Pippen.  Nuthing worked.

Finally, I just gave up and waited....

and then it happened!  The phone rang and we could go pick him up.  We were both out the door in a flash!

They said that he was 'such a good boy' and that he didn't make a peep.

They also said that he wouldn't eat or drink anything that they offered but that doesn't surprise me and mom... Pippen is a suspicious guy and never takes candy from strangers.

Here he is with his big ouchie, he didn't want mom to take a picture of it butt we all know you can't stop the mom!

Pippen says he feels great and is most happy to be back home butt...

he's totally worried abouts the girls being scared of the ouchie scar butt I've assured him that the girls love boys with ouchies...  it makes them look rugged!

Mom says that the vet man that did the procedure will call us in a couple days to let us know what that lumpy thingie was and when we know...  you all will know too!

    XXXOOO Daisy,Bella &Roxy

  6. You are correct. The gals really go for guys who look like they've seen some rough action.

Good luck with the test results. Dog bumps happen and hopefully this one was nothing.

but tell him he mustnt been afraid.the girls will love the scar and if he is clever,he can tell them it from a fight with a big grey wolf that had attacked the momma!
he can be a hero and get plenty of kisses and hugs.

  8. Hi guys! My mom has just started following you on that Facebook thing-a-majig so she was keeping me posted. (I'm not allowed to have Facebook yet she said... humph.)

I'm so glad Pippen is home and happy! We'll all be keeping our paws crossed for good results from the testing!!

PeeS - I've been meaning to tell you my mini-two-legger has been seeking out the blanket your mom made for him. He bunches it up and then falls face first into it and laughs! I thinks he smells you guys and love it!! Mom says he probably just loves how the gorgeous blanket feels! I'll get her to take some pics so you can judge and tell her that I'm right as usual!!

  9. We always think it sucks that when one of us has to go in, neither of us gets breakfast. What is UP with that?!? BTW, we love the rugged look!

  10. Duuuuuude, OMD, I just seened dis! I am so very sorry to hears Pippen hads to have some of his face taken off. I so hope it ain't nuttin' serious!
But I does has to agree, girls just loves fierce, tuff lookin' scarred up boy dogs. And I knows cuz I is a girl.

Hehehehehe...takin' candy from strangers...dat was funnies!

  11. It is NO FUN AT ALL to have to go through surgery to remove bumpies. I've never had it, but my sissy Cinderella had a bunch of bumpies removed and she didn't like it at all. But don't worry, you can't really see her scars under her fur. And even if yours are visible, grrls love guys with tough scars.

  12. Scars give guys character!

Stop on by for a visit

  13. Awwww Sam, you look so super cute but so sad by the phone! Owwww Poor Pippen! Healthy, Healing thoughts, JuJu and Prayers! Love,Licks and Hugs from your Friend Frank
