Sunny Day!

Today was a gorgeous sunny day so we did lots of stuffs we haven't done in a long time.

We looked for snakes in the grass...

Cooled off by stretching out on the grass...

Checked out what the neighbours were doing...

Sat in the front yard waiting for something to happen...

Looked adorable in the sunshine!

Wondered where the heck my sunglasses are...

and spied on the neighbours some more!

Drive By Lickin'

Mom was playing with us on the floor last night and when she leaned over, I got her GOOD!

You should have heard her squeal!

oh! and a word to the wise...

Moms don't taste like chicken!  Blech...

BOL!

One of Life's Mysteries...

After having mom at home for the last 5 days, Pippen and I finally have some peace and quiet to contemplate on of life's great mysteries...

Why is it so hard to be humble when you are so good looking?

In fact... why be humble at all?

More contemplations are needed...

Spa Day and Walkies!

Okay!  We're ready to go!

Where are we going again?

What do you mean, 'the groomers'???

Maybe if I hide in this long grass, she'll forget all about me!

Yep, we're on our way to the groomers...

the LONG way...

I'm actually trying to confuse mom so she forgets what it is we are doing here...

Pippen is NOT with the program!  He likes to go get his hairs cut and have a bath!

Mom didn't forget and dragged me into the bath place...

Now as a treat we gets to go to the beach!

This is called the Esquimalt Lagoon...

Pippen has to take care of some important business...

That there is the ocean... and right in the middle of the photo is a Navy ship. 

We told mom she should have brought the other zoomie camera but she never listens to us!

Pippen likes long walks along the beach...

but I like climbing on all the big sticks!

When I jump of this one, I stepped on another one and the stick went flying over my head...

woulda made an awesome shot but mom forgot the other camera.

Can you see the Seagull?  He's right in the middle of the picture...

Here I am, King of the Hill!

Oh yeah... hahaha...

They trimmed Pippen's ears right down, shorty-short like...

He looks... um, nice... yeah, that's it, nice!

And then, on the way home, we told mom not to turn at the regular spot.  Go straight we said...

Did she listen?

Why would she listen to us???

Just because we sat in the car an extra 15 minutes...

watching the road crew do their thing...

We eventually made it home.

Just in time for our nap!

Off We Go!

You may have noticed that we're looking a bit scruffy and rough around the edges...

Well that's all about to change!  We're off to get a bath and haircut!

And just in time because Pippen's been rolling in something...

and I don't think we want to know what it is!

I Gots Me a Job!

The other day, mom told me that she was tired of seeing my lazee behind always on the sofa...

She said I needed to get a JOB!

Well, I thought... I'll show her!

Yesterday, I saw the paper lady and I asked her if she needed any helps delivering her papers...

And she said YES!!!

She said she sometimes gets confused about which houses need the papers!

Here I am showing her that this is the next house...

Then I'm off quick as a bunny to the next one...

I'm going so fast my tail is flying!

See how nice I make her put the papers on the steps?

It's the attention to detail that will move you up the ladder!

And then I'm off again to get the next paper...

The paper lady says I'm the best helper she's ever had... EVER!

and she told me to make sure that my mom paid me my wages of a milkbone.

So far, my route consists of three houses...

Well, four if you count ours but I make mom carry our paper home!

This Blog Has Been Hi-Jacked!

Those dumb dawgs that I live with have gone out for a walk and I've decided to hi-jack the blog today.

I'm gonna tell you something that's gonna blow your socks off!

It's super secret, so I have to check to make sure no one else is listening...

This is just between you and me... and I know you won't tell anyone else, right???

I told the dawgs I live with that mom chopped it off.

And that she made cat tail soup out of it!

I gots them believing she might chop theirs off too...
