The Sunday Expedition to the Park!

And we're off!

Uh, mom... should you be taking pictures and driving at the same time?

Oh, look!  It's Nellie and Darla's house... I wonder if they are home?

We're getting closer...

Mom, it says to go slow... but go slow in a fast way cuz we're almost there...

There's the sign to our park!

Nobodys at that part...

Hurry up mom!  I can't see if anyone's there...

Who's the old guy at our picnic table?

Okay, none of our friends are here yet... I'll leave some pee mail so they know where we are...

Then we went on our usual walk... none of our friends were around today.

The sky looked nice...

and of course we left lots of pee mail...

and got all the lastest park gossip!

Then we went over to the house where our friend Ruby used to live...

I rang the bell but no one answered...  so I left...

We hung around the yard for a while and then went and checked out the cliffs...

It's a bit windy out there today... look at the Canadian flag...

Look!  Up in the sky!  It's...

... a seagull!

Nobody showed up today... at least not any of our friends... so after one more roll in some stinky...

We headed for home and a nap.

Sometimes we get bored while mom is at work all day, so we've been wracking our brains trying to think of something interesting to do that isn't destructive!

We know that mom would appreciate something like us vacuuming or dusting or washing the dishes but anybody can do that!  How special would that be?

The other day we were hanging on the sofa watching Judge Judy when Pippen noticed this:

This is intriguing!

This could be a hobby that could make us money!  People would come from all over to buy our works of art for astronomical amounts of money and then mom wouldn't have to work!

She would totally appreciate that!

It's not finished yet... We still have to apply the shellac but Chico Kitty keeps running away!

You should have seen him when we dipped him in the Modge Podge!

I don't think it's common knowledge but Schnauzer legs taste like chicken...

This is what I think of stores that send sales flyers to our house that don't have any type of cookie, biscuit, treat, etc. on sale!

I wonder who's going to clean all that up?

MJ Meetup

We headed over to the park this afternoon to see our good friend MJ and to give her our goodbye present from Mango.  Like usual, we arrived early so there was only one thing for us to do...

HIT THE BEACH!

Look at all the seaweed!  At least it isn't in the ocean like last time...

Doesn't it look like a bunch of snakes?

and if you step on it, its all squishy and stuff!  yuck!

Mom remembered to bring the floaty today but it was real windy out there so the waves were crazy high...

Quit taking my picture and throw it already!

See how high those waves are?  Crazy!

So I only went in a couple times and then we went up to the table to wait for MJ...

As soon as she got there, she insisted on putting her new tee-shirt on...

It's a perfect fit!  and the "Mango adores you" part is right over her heart... MJ told us that that was her favorite part of the shirt!

Then we went on our last walk together...

MJ looks a wee bit sad to be leaving her good looking boys, doesn't she?

Then we sat on the wall for a bit...

'Sam... your bum is touching my bum...'

'I know and I kinda like it!'

and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, MJ yelled out at the top of her lungs, so everyone in the park could hear...

"MANGO, I LOVE YOU!"

and that's when we decided to go home!  We can't be seen hanging around crazy women...

Hope to see you again soon MJ!  Have a safe trip to Whitehorse!  We'll miss you!

Friday at the Park!

Mom was good to her word today!  We went to our park this morning to check how things are...

We did all the usual...

Checked pee-mail...

Left pee-mail...

Checked out the beach...

The sticks are all too big!

I wanted to go swimming but mom didn't bring the floaty and there was lots of seaweed.... eeeewwwww....

So we headed back to the path - we made mom climb the steep hill she hates that but she says its better that going down the steep hill!

On our way up look what we found!

Of course, we wanted to take it home but mom said no!  Mom told us that it was probably from a fish.  We didn't believe her cuz how could a fish swim way up here on land, really mom...  but then she reminded us that the eagle's nest is right above us.  Oh... yeah...  we thought that made sense...

So we continued on our way...

Just wanderin' along...

Singin' our song... do doo do dee doodley dee...

When we got back to the meeting area we met some new doggies, named Nitro and Glycerin...

They seemed pretty nice and Pippen wanted to go home with them!  That is until mom said bye and then he hightailed it back to us...

After that we walked over to the cliffs to see if mom would let us do some rock climbing...

We wanted to go over the edge but mom, being a big chicken, said no...

We decided to go back to the picnic table and wait to see if any of our friends would show up.

Not five minutes went by when our good friend Sarah and her mom stopped by!

I always tell her how mean my mom is and she always falls for it and gives me extra special loving!

Then a big dog named Sly showed up with his little brother, Piper!  We've never met these guys before so we weren't sure about Sly but we really liked Piper...

He even smacked Pippen on the head a couple of times!

We vegged out for awhile and then mom said it was time to go home...

Are you SURES we have to go home?
