The Home Front

We thought we would take you on a little walking tour of our 'hood today.

We live in a townhouse in a complex comprised of 120 condos and townhouses on 5 acres of land.

This is the sidewalk next to the outdoor pool.

Can you read that sign?  It says 'NO PETS'

Mom says that means that dogs aren't allowed in there.  I, on the other hand, think it means we can go in there but the peoples aren't allowed to pet us!  That makes more sense but mom doesn't believe me...

Anyway...

This here is a HUGE tree that we like to do our business around - we're pretty sure it's the gathering place for all the dogs and cats of the complex because there's lots of news to read.  We especially like this spot when there's a big windstorm because branches fall out of the tree all over the place!  You should see how angry mom gets when we just stand there - she thinks we'll all be killed one day but she worries too much!

and here's some of the grassy bits to pee on!  Pip was gracious enough to give a demonstration.

It's also good for rolling around on...

and for cooling off important parts of the anatomy...

Here we are chillin' in our front yard, just waiting to see if anyone interesting stops by for a chat.

and to end our tour, a photo of Pippen so that he doesn't think I'm getting more face time...  or in the case of these photos, more bum time!

So remember, if you're in the neighbourhood don't be shy, stop in and say hey and we'll share a cookie or two.  Our place is easy to find, it's the one right over the middle of Pip's head!

We'll be waiting for you!

  1. Looks llike a great place. But why would you even want to go on a place where no petting happens?

  2. Oh, thank you very much for taking us on a tour of your neighborhood! It looks like a very much fun place to live. And I agrees on that sign. Although when you think about it, it's kind of a crazy sign either way.

I'd luvs to come over. How long do you think it would take to walk to your place from Collie-rado?
