Raising The Roof!

Some of the buildings in our complex are getting their roof replaced.  Our building is one of the lucky ones...

Mom was hoping that they would post a schedule of what order the buildings would be done because she wanted to take vacation so she could stay home with us.

Monday rolled around and which building is first??? Ours of course!  Mom had to go to work and when she got home we didn't seem too stressed out.  So off to work she went this morning... how bad could it be?

Today, when she got home there was yellow tape cordoning off the area so nobody would walk near the work and accidently get bonked on the head with a roof shingle...  Also, the roofers needed to have a large garbage bin so they could throw off all the garbages from the roof.

Guess where they put the garbage bin???  And guess who's place had to have scaffolding place over the entry way and walk???

Can you just imagine all the noise that was going on at our place today?

Above the scaffolding, they had a blue tarp to catch any stray garbages...  when we went out for our walkie the noise from that thing scared the bejeebers out of us!

See the yellow helmet?  Sam really wanted to pee in it!  Mom told him no... at least not when the roofer guys were watching!

Here's a couple pictures from the upstairs bedroom...  The bin guy is taking it away.  Wonder if we'll be getting another one tomorrow?

And then right after mom took this picture, the bin guy looked up and waved!

Mom was horrified.  If we had known earlier that waving at mom makes her stop taking pictures, we would have done that a long time ago!

Hope they finish quickly....without any injuries to you guys. We think you should have peed in the hat.

  2. Practice your wave. Hehehe. Maybe you can hook up an auto wave gizmo for when you are napping.
