Beaver Lake Adventure!

What's that off in the distance?  Is it?  Could it be?

A grey doggie off leash?

Hurry up, Mom!  This off leash stuff is fun!

Yep, that's right!  On Saturday we went to Beaver Lake, about 20 minutes from our house to get out and walkie... we've been here before and I love it because I can totally be my own dog.

The scenery is spectacular!  Especially when there's a good looking dog in the photo.

Uh yeah, mom.  I know you wants to go that way but I'm off leash and I say we're going this way!

It's so much fun wandering around in the forest looking for bears and other wildlife...

The only problem with that is not paying attention to which trail you should be taking and thinking you are on the right one until you get to the end and see this instead of your car!

OOPSIE!

We obviously zigged when we should have zagged...

but getting lost has it's perks.

I had to wait forever for mom while she took pictures of him.

We eventually found the right trail and got back to our car.  Our walkie turned out to be a lot longer than we expected and the nap we had when we got back home was well deserved!

Deuce Days!

Hey Ho!  On Sunday, I went to check out a bunch of cars parked on the street!

How is that different from any other day, you ask?

Well... first of all, there were tons of peoples milling around.

Second of all, we gots to walk on the street... or the sidewalk... it just didn't matter!

And last but not least!  As you may have already figured out... these were fancy cars!

In fact, we were told that there were 1,160 cars parked around the Inner Harbour in Victoria

For a while, it looked like I was the only doggie that was interested in fancy old cars but then they started to come out and I even said hi to a couple of them.

Just check out that engine!

A pink car?  Who would have thought somebuddy would want one! 

Taking a break on the cool grasses and getting ready to look at more cars.

This one was nice... but I liked the red one the best!

All right, everybuddies!  Stay away from this car!  This one's mine!

I liked this one too but mom said we don't like blue cars as a rule.

This one is lip-smacking good!

Where Canada Begins!

Yesterday, mom and I went out for a walkie to the place where Canada begins!  I'm glad I live here... I'm not sure if I would want to live in the place where Canada ends!

Also, right near there is the Terry Fox memorial.

Then we crossed the street to walk on a path to get to our next destination.

Beacon Hill Park!  I really like it here and we could wander around all day and still not see everything!

We saw a deer!  Mom told me that I have to be real quiet and still or the deer would skedaddle.

Took a break here near the ocean...

and we went through this nice cool path.

I had to take another rest in front of these flowers because I met a cute little girl doggy that was KERAZY and wanted to run, run, run! I chased her a few times but she was lightening quick!

I wanted to go over and say hi to this guy but mom wouldn't let me get too close to him in case he tried to bite me.

And here's what happens when you go to the park early on a Sunday... All the ducks are still taking their showers!
